Yes, I think Aero would want to shy away from bringing the muffler manufacturing back into the USA.
It would certainly increase per unit cost.
Right now meeting demand is the key focus. This is a critical juncture. Aero can not afford to lose customers for a hot product line because of availability.
Even if cost per unit went up, they would still get revenue from sales.
If they don't have them to sell, well no revenue will occur.
I know you are aware of that.
Having the pipes bent in the USA is more costly, but at least demand can be met. One must have a happy customer for them to go to the next guy and say, Man what a product!!! You need to get one.
So, keep the mufflers being built in China, bend the pipes here, and Sell Sell Sell those kits!
