Not sure what UWKI has to do with HTRE.

But since you brought it up...

uWink, was operating since 2000 yet the first uWink restaurant didnt open until October 2006 in Los Angeles.

They had to overcome changes in management, terminated leases and even sold shares to fund operations and launch.


Here are some tidbits from UWKIs past...

"during the third and forth quarters of 2003, the Company raised a total of $3,727,756 in gross proceeds from the sale of common stock. Subsequent to December 31, 2003, the Company raised an additional $1,426,050 in gross proceeds from the sale of its common stock. The Company has used the net proceeds of the offering to restructure and improve its balance sheet, pay off certain accounts payable and accrued liabilities, purchase game terminal inventory and for working capital."
