This isn't political at all. Innocent Americans were sacrificed in order to pass the Patriot Act, the Anti-Terrorism act and a host of other decrees that have effectively subverted the constitution of the United States.
The only reason that these insidious acts wern't passed the first time the WTC was bombed is becuase only six people died. They neede a higher body count to get the political leverage necessary to accomplish this.

Where did the plane go? The initial report (I also have this video clip on CD) indicated there were no seats and no pieces of fusalage, not engine parts (those engines are big and would have survived the impact). Just a big ditch. And, ditto for the plane that hit the Pentagon (video clip). No engines, no seats. And, the whole site was buried under five feet of new topsoil after FBI agents picked up by hand a handful of visible fusalage parts. A handful! A plane crash in Africa a short time later had seats, engines, fusalage, etc.
