In regards to the race that Jim mentioned during the interview, I have some information. The race was run last weekend and was suppossed to be televized this weekend but has been moved to January for TV time. The Z with the Iso torque diff was running in fourth until the last lap when they had engine trouble and finished in fifth place. No one expected to beat the much more powerful pontiacs which were the four cars that finished ahead of the Z. The significance of the race is that the other Z in the race was exactly the same except for the differential. The race verified that the Iso Torque equipt Z did infact run a full 2 seconds per lap faster than the other Z. This is what Nissan wants, an apples to apples comparrison and it appears that the iso torque really proved itself to be the premier differential. This is a factory testing ground, you can make absolutely sure that Nissan engineers and designers have taken note of this and I'm sure its only a matter of time before we see iso torques in a variety of nissan offerings.
