Well I did my part for Aero's numbers today. I found a small shop about 45 minutes from me that orders the product. They are not a real big shop, so they don't stock/install they product, but that is fine.
I went to see them about 4:30 EST today and they had brochures and an application guide. They even called Aero while I was there to get current pricing etc. I ordered the Aero Turbine 2525 for my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I also ordered a weld-on tip. I got quite a deal. The 2525 online shows $138 and I'm getting mine for $100. The tip online was like $36-38 and I'm paying $40, but that makes my total only $140 including free shipping. Should have it in a couple of days.
The guy who owns the shop told me he sells Aero, Magnaflow and Flowmaster. He has had a Magnaflow on his diesel truck for quite a while. His wife has a Flowmaster on her vehicle. He told me the Flowmaster, after a couple years, really starts to sound bad. He's getting ready to put Aero on his truck and mayber her vehicle. I also asked him if he had heard of Dr. Gas and he said yes. He also said he was going to the SEMA (that spelled right) show next week in Vegas. He told me he takes pictures and he would take some pics of anything he sees w/Aero or Dr.Gas and give them to me. We both own stereo shops so we had instant rapport.
I called the performance muffler shop I normally deal with and they told me it would cost about $40 to weld on the muffler and tip. I'm going to also ask them if they know of any place that can test my Jeep before and after for things like engine temp, HP, torgue etc. If I can, I may get some testing done and will let you know what I find out.
