RE: AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE THE VIKING YELLOWKNIFE GOLD PROPERTY

Copper Hill Corporation ("Copper Hill") is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Viking Yellowknife Gold Mines ("Viking" - 78.8% owned by Lakota Resources Inc. "YLA") in which Copper Hill can earn, on a staged basis, an 80% interest in their gold property situated approximately 70 km north of yellowknife, NWT. The acquisition is subject to review and approval by the TSX Venture Exchange. The property consists of 16 claims and lies on the north-south trending gold belt that hosts the Giant Yellowknife Mine, the Con Mine, and the Discovery Mine. Terms of the deal include payments to Viking of a total of 35,000 by the end of the first year, $30,000 in the second year, and $50,000 in the third year of the agreement, to earn the initial 60% interest in the property. The agreement also calls for the issue of a total of 400,000 common shares on a staged basis, over the three years. Copper Hill is also required to complete exploration expenditures totaling $1.5 million based on the following staged basis: $100,000 in the first 15 months; $500,000 total by the end of 24 months and $900,000 by the end of the third year. Copper Hill also has the right to earn a further 20% interest by expending an additional $2.0 million on the property during the subsequent two years.

Copper Hill is currently in discussions regarding financing arrangements with several groups.

Copper Hill trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol YCU and holds other highly prospective, advanced stage exploration projects in Newfoundland and Labrador.
