We need a lower low now, and some good bullish divers in various indicators.

They mention that in June/July before the sell off, the VIX was rising with the major indicies. Remember that chart I posted of the SPX:VIX ratio? (Can you find that post? I cannot find it!! I have to stop posting so much!!) There was your "tell." And now that I think of it, that same thing happened in early 2006, right before the big dump in January.
