Stop rubbing your hands in glee,because Inquirer had a hard time digesting the business implications of the Intel blog.
Basically the Blog thinks that the specialized GPU are doomed becuase "the CPU is required to coordinate much of the action and the CPU-GPU link is a relatively slow one."

So The Larabee type chip is the way to go,since the CPU and GPU are on the same chip the slow CPU-GPU link is not an issue.

Anyhow AMD came to the same conclusion also and justified the ridiculous purchase of ATI. Unfortunately that acquisition has come close to sinking AMD.
