Agree completely. However, Qtrax is very different from their competitor SpiralFrog in that QTrax will sit on top of an existing P2P network, gnutella. Whereas SpiralFrog is a standalone app. QTrax has its roots in Kazaa so they are not reinventing anything, just making it legal

Their diverse catalog will include tens of millions of high-quality, high-fidelity digital music files (if they get off the ground). So far, Universal Music is the only major label to sign on with Spiral Frog.
