A4orce, I think you have taken a very unemotional approach to it and many of us appreciate that. I am also a car guy, have been all my life and I am 74, so I have been interested for quite a while. I agree with almost everything you said.
Except for one part. You do understand everyone else's muffler but I think you may have missed the finest part of Aero's patented muffler design. Others reduce back pressure and benefit from it. Aero uses techniques from the Coanda effect (jet engine design) and Bernoulli's theories (airplane wings) to use the exhaust gases as they pass through a part of the muffler to create a low pressure area to actually DRAW more gases out of the exhaust system. Otherwise, how could the addition of mufflers to Ganassi's pure racing sports cars increase horsepower and torque and mileage? He dyno'd them and found that . . . wonder of wonders . . . the mufflers actually performed better than NO MUFFLERS AT ALL. Open pipes on pure racing engines did not perform as well as those with Aero's.
This is the key to Aero's design and the reason so many of us feel that there is a huge market for this revolutionary product. Imagine all of Fedex and UPS and all of the 18 wheelers in this country, and then the world, converting to Aero in the next few years. The combined effect of such a turnover in mufflers can make Aero rich in time, as it can for us investors. An increase of only 1% would pay for itself on diesels that run hundreds of thousands of miles. Aero projects a slightly better rate of increase in that. Add all those small privately owned trucks and then start adding OEM deals. The 8K wasn't what we hoped for, but THE MUFFLER IS. I'll hold for long term taxes.
