In all fairness, the whole market is down today and this is a longstanding pattern for AMD. Rise up before earnings and drop off afterwards.

This pattern notwithstanding, AMD was down ~2x the general market. If the results had been interpreted as a major positive the stock shouldn't have dropped this precipitously.
