AAPL anecdotal info --- my daughter age 25 is preparing to attend grad school in the spring and she is presently without a laptop -- I told her that I will buy a laptop for her (that's what daddy's do) and that I have received several recent offers from Dell on laptops at special prices which I could take advantage of --- her reply was that she DEFINITELY wants an AAPL laptop and that she appreciates my offer -- but would I just give her the Dell laptop purchase price and she will pay the extra amount to get the exact AAPL laptop she wants ---- read into it what you wish --- LOL
