Nuggets in the gravel:

I sometimes troll through the RB site. Believe me, there is a lot of junk there. But occasionally I find some good information, which I check out and document.

One nugget is the GAIA website:
http://www.gaia-akku-online.de/ENG/SEITEN/
which explains under the "Our Technology" tab a few things about our battery technology that I did not know before.

The Lithium Technology website mentions stationary power applications under the "Markets / Stationary Power" tabs
http://www.lithiumtech.com/StationaryPower.html
But the GAIA website has a picture of the battery under the "Products" tab [last picture, "Pitch Control"]:
http://www.gaia-akku-online.de/ENG/SEITEN/action.lasso?-Token.Menu=Produkte&-Token.Link=Link1&am....

A 10/15/07 article, "Lithium-Ion-Accumulator for Pitch Systems"
http://www.verivox.de/News/ArticleDetails.asp?aid=64236&pm=1
mentions GAIA's contribution [paragraph 4].

Wind to Energy, the company that developed the pitch control device,
http://www.wind-to-energy-online.de/DE/W0107-M0812-APFY-800-W2E-004-1-GE_A3_reduce.pdf
mentions GAIA and shows a picture of our battery [page 2].
