By the way - in the above scenario, it is possible the advantage goes to AMD depending on what INTC uses for the FSB and the performance of their NB. The HT/PCI Express Tunnel will be a very lightweight device, and the AMD on chip NB should easily perform better than an off chip NB.

I think I convinced myself there is not going to be any problems for AMD with PCI Express, which is what they have even stated themselves.
