Well, for intellectually honest folks ( that;s not you ) it would matter that there are many of the hottest years ever that occurred in the early 1900's when the influence of man couldn't have caused the problem.

It's not just those 2 years- it's the years before with similar high temperatures

No one is denying that recent temperatures have been high

What's being disputed is that it's humans that are causing that effect and that the high temperatures aren't just a normal variation
