Well since Vietnam joined the WTO and now has good trading status with the US you will be seeing a lot more imports from Vietnam into the US.

If this was LL Bean then it is the textile issue that was holding up the WTO vote for Vietnam a year ago. Many Senators and Congressmen were apprehensive about cheap goods flooding the market in the US from Vietnam.

You may not know this but the average worker in Vietnam makes about $60 per month.
So labor is very cheap. I hope the trade boom in that country will help the average worker and spur economic investment. The Vietnam government is planning to spend billions to improve the infrastructure in that country. This is where Cavico fits in. It is the biggest non government infrastructure company in Vietnam. The only company that was being traded in the US on the US market. When they file the form 10 it will once again be the only Vietnam company trading on a US exchange.

You got to know when to hold them. Know when to fold them. Know when to walk away, and know when to run.
