SteveO, my problem with your scenario is that we already have double bottoms on several indices with the March and August lows. If we take those out, the next support is the summer 2006 lows. That's a bear market territory, not a bullish correction.

If we test those 2007 lows, that's a triple bottom, and we know those are just as legitimate as Pamela Anderson's knockers.
