Compared to most other developed countries less than half of our unemployement is taken into account and reported to the public. That's millions of people that are starving or not far from it and don't appear in any statistics.

Now we're told that hey, self-employement has been "boosted" and neither the media nor the Senate Budget Committee don't bother doing their homework and asking for tangible proof (as usual.)

How CONVENIENT!

Oh, and did I mention that we are the richest country on this little planet? Surely we can afford a few million more people without health insurance or hope of any kind to get out of the gutter, all whilst "boosting" the economy.

Man, what a disgrace.
