Dirt, this is not that difficult. For the last time - I hope:

If the driller tells you on Thurs that he will start on Monday. For sure!!!, Therefore you put out a PR indicating the drilling starts Monday. Done. The reason you even put is out is for all the whiners who are whining about "when is it gonna start, you're just pumping us along, you're a scam, all things said over and over on this very board.

But, Monday morning, the driller does not show. No warning, no contact, etc....

You are not in control! The driller decided to take 2x the payrate to get another job done. The driller tells you tough luck.

This is common in the oil business. Thats a fact.

So, no, its not about credibility. Did the driller infact say Monday? Yes. You are credible. Did the driller not show on Monday? No. YOu are credible, the driller is not.

This is not that difficult, the rest of us understand this. The real question is why you refuse to not acknowledge these realities.
