Well, what can you say - Murphy's Law strikes again.. I guess by now nothing that happens in the bio sector should come as a surprise. I dumped my 35,000 shares at 0.72 cents, so that's it for me.

The way I'm looking at CX-717 now is as a test compound for the acute RD proof of concept study. If it works, then Cortex would probably be better off switching to CX-701 for the larger trials, even though that will entail a delay. The other concern is the eventual need for more funds, with dilution stretching out into the future. The $2.00 financing recently will provide funds for a year or so which is very fortunate, but after that it's back to the dilution mill.

Well, everyone makes mistakes, the key is to learn from them. What I've learned is that microcap positions need to be small and part of a diversified group of holdings. Pretty obvious, but I guess we have to learn via the school of hard knocks.
