Smoke,

When I was a young teenager, I grew up around a family of homebuilders.

They frequently paid the neighborhhod kids meager wages to do the things no one else wanted to do.

Two of the ones I absolutely hated were digging footings and insulating attics.

During summer "vacations" from school, we would work for them to earn some spending money.

I remember insulating attics with the old bag wool insulation when it was 100 degrees outside and probably 130 or more in the attic.

When we got done we would probably earn enough to ride to the store on our bikes and buy a Coke and a cupcake.

And a half dozen showers wouldn't stop you from itching because the insulation had gotten into our pores.

Now if I need some insulation to be done, I hire someone to do it.

I don't do insulation.

Phil
