That was one man's experience...however it was echoed by other officials who were also asked to leave.

If enough people start repeating the same thing, and those people are reasonable humans without a long history of inciting riots or seeing giant rabbits, you gotta wonder.

Paul O'Neill is a bit of a boyscout..earnest, maybe not always the most politically savvy, but good at his job. He seemed a little prone to foot in mouth disease, but not out of malice, from what I could tell. He struck me as the kind of guy who blurted out what he saw as the truth, and appeared a bit inept at the Washington game.

I don't see that as a fatal flaw as a human being, although it's not good for a political career.

However, I do think Paul O'Neill is a credible source, as he doesn't have a history of making mean spirited attacks on people. In fact when people suggetsed to him that his book could get him in trouble, he basically said "why? I'm only telling the truth..why would I get in trouble for telling the truth"

LOL! I wish I could live on whatever planet he's been living on..sheesh
