Then, flagrantly deforming the sense of what I was saying, you go on to talk exclusively about the number of shares traded yesterday -- a number of which I was, as you might well imagine, fully aware. (After all, I have been actively trading comments here on this IHub board for years now, and don't drive blind.)

I won't continue, having already said what is indispensable. There are moments when everyone enjoys a sharp exchange, so I'll leave it at that. Who am I to deny you those weekend pleasures?

It just so happens that the CEO and his team are resolute, determined, upbeat and keen to miss absolutely no opportunity that is looming.

To continue with your metaphor, perhaps you are classifiable as an argumentative 'leopard' and have no intention of changing your spots.
