I think all the articles about Apple's attitude towards opening the iPhone and PR foibles get accentuated it if you are MO ( Mac obsessive). The average Joe is what counts for consumer sales and everyone I know who has an iPhone has never had any Mac before.
The iPod and the iPhones are still the 'hot' items to beat, you want mobile phones that are crippled, look at how well Verizon is doing and they rape and pillage their hardware for their own greed.
All I know is I am seeing daily all time highs and expect Mac, etc sales to blow my socks off this qtr
