I think he was insulted because no one from the firm making the recommendation has ever contacted him. what basis would they have to make any recommendation on strat? having NO info whatsoever from the company...

makes sense to me. I have been a broker for 17 years. never heard of any research being done to make an analysis of a company without first contacting that company. never, not once.
