Very good Dirt, thanks for the post.
I stand corrected. The last time I spoke w/ Tom we talked about some other well possibilities west of the current drill (and the 13 we are planing) which are 5400 vs 9,600+ feet down. Those can cost about 800K. So, I mixed up the two locations.
You are right about the numbers you posted. That was my mistake and I stand corrected. Thanks for straightening me out.
As far as the head pressure testing and flow rates, I agree that they can have those from initial, but IMO, the real rates will not be known for a month more, until after they get all the stuff (hardened mud acting as a plug) out of the bottom of the well. The difference between this well and a normal well is all that hardened mud. I would agree with you normally, but not in this case. IMO, the initial flow will be much lower than the flow one month later, this after talking to guys on site. My posting about flow rates reflects this senario specific to EDEX's specific site.
As far as timing, I posted that they should be done by the end of December. I too agree that it could be much earlier. I was trying to be conservative in this guess. I too hope for earlier, and honestly expect it. (Remember, that I was told by another poster that it was fantasy to expect it by December's end.) In theory, it can be done much quicker and I hope it is. However, this is EDEX. What has ever happened on time. (Sorry for that last comment, but it is a reality.)
Time will tell, but thanks for the correction.
