VIETNAN - REVISITED!
During the period Aug 62 through Dec 1972, I spent 10+ years in the US Air Force. During that time, I spent 3 years in the Orient in support of VietNam. On the two occasions that I had returned to the states, I was greeted by fellow Americans chanting "murderer" and "No VietNam", to every serviceman setting his foot back on homeland ground, in California. It did not make me feel appreciated that I was fighting so that another country could experience the freedom of speech that these chanters used against the very servicemen that protected their right of free speech. Free is free, you can sue for falsehoods, but not when people use words that hurt you or words that you do not agree with. Are you going to set rules on what a person can say. Only if you have control over their destiny, such as an employer can you set standards of conduct. Unless you are being abused, you have NO Fair complaint. Sorry, that's the way life is. Sam
