Last year, Siemens bought Diagnostic Products Corporation and Bayer Diagnostics. This past July the purchased Dade Behring, another diagnostic company.

It appears that Siemens intends to be on a competitive level or exceed the size of Abbott. They will make a good partner for RECAF.
