Yes the company is worried, and not without reason. The SP plummited 50% apparenlty on allegations that the patent had been assigned to Daic. I would think it irresponsible to let that continue without taking some form of action.

Personally I liked the language of the statement. Particularly the reference to not putting out PR's for short term gain. Means they are interested in building a company not simply a Pump-n-dump scam.

Now, whether the patent is actually worth anything is another story. A lot of people fighting about it. ACACIA seems to think it holds promise. (Notice there was no reference to that deal in the statement even though it is public knowledge.) I have seen other companies skyrocket just on the release of information that a suit had been filed without ever waiting to see the results.

But please don't listen to me. I would love to pick up some more shares at .08 or less.
