When negotiating, whether it is a sport coat, sport boat, sport arena, only talk with the person that can give you the answer "yes".

If the person to whom you are talking has to refer elsewhere, or can't say yes, then you are not talking to the right person, and the information given can be suspect.

Just a thought from some of the professional negotiators around the world.
