That was a horrible close for BTJ.

wow -- everyone is so sure they are going to warn and some big funds are bailing out...

This is a real short killer -- or could be

sub-5 million float and over 25% short? That's an extraordinary bet to be taking. It's almost down 50% from the top which is very often where I see the bottom. I'm sure there are tons of stops just below 30 but that's exactly where anyone bottom fishing should plunge head first.

the short interest makes me think it's not a warning but more of a manipulation effort to push it down and keep hitting stops -- just like some people here bought at 36 then sold at 35 -- as long as you keep hitting the sell button (and they can short on downticks) -- they can cascade the selling right until the end of the quarter.

I get fair value around $44 assuming 8% growth over the next 5 years. No long term debt...

I've seen these kind of plunges before... they just keep going until there's a long tail candle that dips way down and closes close to breakeven for the day.

Seems the price is so cheap that if they warned the stock would rise on the news -- having been all priced in. It's just the opposite of JRJC. Complete selloff on strong growth/value play.

Even though BTJ is through the 200 day MA it's at support if you look at a weekly chart which I find is often where institutions like to hold it:

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=BTJ&p=W&yr=2&mn=9&dy=0&id=p98244328158

I mean -- if you're one of the big holders -- you don't want it dropping under the 50 day weekly -- it's gone after that.

I'm betting this short campaign ends tomorrow but I'd love to see it drop 2 points in the morning on a gap down -- that would be the sign to buy. Nobody is that desperate to sell. That just pure scare tactics. And they'll get the stops to cover the takedown.
