SIIX :) With all due respect, that release is all over the place. And at the top of each one there is no MDEA stock symbol because it is no longer related to the MDEA publicly trading company. And at the bottom of each one, you'll see it identify itself as a division of Boris FX, if you then follow through on the DD you'll find the purchase by Boris FX from Optibase, and then quite naturally the Optibase acquisition of Media 100 assets via chapter 11 bankruptcy action.

Document research will show:
--Jun 2004: Optibase purchased Media 100 assets via a bankruptcy court. These assets became the majority of Optibase's digital non-linear product line operations.
--Sep 2005: Optibase sells certain patent rights of Media 100 to Acoustic Technologies LLC
--Sep 2005: Optibase then sold its digital non-linear product line operations (in essence Media 100) to Artel software Corp (Boris FX). The sale included all services, warranty and maintenance obligations. Under the terms of the agreement Boris FX is obligated to pay royalties from future sales of products and services up to $2 million. Optibase agreed to make its manufacturing facilities available to Boris FX though Dec 2007 (same town location for Media 100 [MDEA] pre-bankruptcy). In addition, Boris FX purchases Media 100 HD boards from Optibase through Sep 2007.

So technically, Artel Software Corp (Boris FX) could attempt to go public if it wanted to, however, I called the Media 100 "unit" and spoke to a very nice sales representative who has been a part of the Media 100 "intellectual property" going back prior to MDEA's chapter 11 petition. He stated:
--Media 100's intellectual property is part of Boris FX
--Boris FX has no currents ties to Optibase as they satisfied all purchase obligations related to the Media 100 purchase
--Boris FX has no plans to go "public"
--Questions regarding MDEA should be addressed to former MDEA CFO Steve Shea (508) 259-6280

There is no evidence to support MDEA as an r/m candidate-- sorry :(
