Nobody in Russia (especially on executive level) is smart enough "to play fake biz game". Shorting, derivatives, hedging, reverse split, etc. - is still too sophisticated stuff for average CEO or President. You have more chances to be robbed traditional way - under gun point, than by RS. :) For "biz game" like this most of the companies rely on an advice of "experienced Western professional". NWOG barely got rid of of one of them - Monimpex. Now they are probably leaded by another one. Hopefully, this "adviser" has NWOG's interests in mind, but probably they give a chance to their buddies to cover short positions first. I actually want to see old fashioned PRs written on broken English. At least I'd know that NWOG is still in control. :)
