I don't believe the media is controlled. They have an agenda no doubt but I don't think they are controlled.

They broke the bush illegal spying stories
They broke watergate
They made abu-grahib a household word.

And a million other stories of government corruption and malfeasance. I generally believe they will report just about anything they get.

As far as your article here is a great example of why the media isn't controlled.

Forgive me if I don't consider a marketing and english lit professor a leading scientist or expert.

I already knew that trick. The global warming crowd was putting these kind of people on their list of "thousands of scientists"

Speaking of which

I can actually show you real leading scientists who think global warming theory is nonsense. I suspect you wouldn't believe them however.

Most people are pre-disposed to believe what they want to believe.
