HOWDY...I suspect you won't be seeing lots
of postings here. Reason: For several years, the FREE posting services offered by Raging BS has created a following, a cult, mostly "bottom feeders" who spend their pitiful days typing discreet messages hoping to get a rise from other investors, viewers and posters. Besides, people are creatures of habit and to get them to change is tough, unless you get them to substitute another habit OR THERE ARE SOME FINANCIAL INCENTIVES. And what, pray tell, is Investors Hub going to do to change stock posters habits?
So, even though Raging BS has changed their format to accommodate advertisers and not posters, their new business format and model will ultimately fail because the suitors of Raging BS will soon realize that the internet is still the "information superhighway" and most lurkers and posters are not interested in buying things... they are interested in a free expression format. They want something for nothing because that is what the internet has been all about. To get regular TV or radio, do you pay? Only if you want upgrades or premium services will you pay, and those premium services better offer something really worth it or people with habits aren't going to change anytime soon.
The advertisers and owners of websites such as this have to come up with innovative programs to get people to PAY for something better than what they have gotten for free for so long. (I've got some innovative ideas and will be suggesting these to the principal of Investor Hub soon.) Other than that, I have seen very little in the way of innovation. The only websites that seem to be producing revenue through advertising of any significance are the porno sites and the lottery give-away sites like IWON. In the former case, SEX still sells, and in the latter case, it takes money to make money.
So, if you want some meaningful discussion and exchange of ideas on the stock CYSI, go back to Raging BS, weed through the bashings and hype, and continue doing what has worked well in the past. jmho
