Liz,

That may be true in Boca, especially near swampy areas in the warm weather, but, not bad at all in the Palm Beaches. [There are as many "giant" insects on Long Island (NY) in the summer, especially along coastlines, as I've seen anywhere down here.]

Our pool is open (no net) and relatively little bug problems. I live on a lake and I was actually surprised not to have any mosquito problem. The only issue is an outbreak of ants about 3 or 4 times a year. In my front & back yards (no concrete except for the driveway & back patio), I get these mounds of ants that look more like apartment complexes than ant hills.

If ants ever evolve into bigger sizes, they'll take over the Earth.

TVIN, a pretty high-priced OTCBB stock. What a move in AELA!

I'm not sure if they still offer it, but they were offering something like a month's free premium membership for those that sent in their photo (unless you think they won't publish it for some other reason...hehehe).

Hopefully, this post will post...
