I thought the news we were to get was going to be on a completed acquisition. This says differently. Am I missing something?

"As announced on the Friday conference call, the company has a couple of pending acquisitions. One of these acquisitions is rather large and complex in nature. It requires that we check and double check the data and information in the press release versus the technical reports as they are in a language other than English."
