IMO long term yes, short term you might be able to get it cheaper in the next coming days. Whenever this 8k comes out, if you don't own stock it'll suck cuz it will most likey open way up the morning after. You can either wait and buy cheaper shares and risk not being in when 8k is released or you can buy now and watch your portfolio go red until the 8k is released. I'm doing the latter.
