Betting football and playing poker have a lot in common. In poker I have found that if you play real tight until you get cards there will be a time when you are up pretty good. If you can get up and leave when ahead you can take home the money. I was so far ahead after football on Saturday I did not dare watch any games for fear of losing all the money back. I came home last night about 11:30 and looked up the scores. But I still have the money. Now I just need to stay away again tonight. Then I see THE MAN on Tuesday. He will not be pleasant.
