In a previous interview, Capstone owner Wallach discussed his manufacturing outsourcing strategy. He explained that his company was a manufacturer without factories, a distributor without warehouses and a developer without a development department. Products, packaging and marketing materials are designed by outside consultants, manufacturing is contracted through Chinese producers and goods are shipped directly to big-box customers.
