I guess I'm getting better at this ?
I was so SURE that I was "right" about
what I read in that filling last night
that I put an order in to buy back the shares
that I sold taking profits last week...
but...despite the great time I had out
on the town, all night long I couldn't
stop thinking about how arrogent I was
being jumping back in so...CERTAIN.
In the past, that CERTAINTY has really
cost me...thinking I KNEW how the market
was going to react to 'news'. I got up
this morning and through the blur of
left over party, I managed to cancel
my order and sit on my hands until the
market showed me which way this was
going to go...
It was something about the DEBT, lack
of income, technologies that are just
now proving themselves and the "assets"
consisted of a lot of coal that not
many others wanted to begin with...
SURE ENOUGH...
I was wrong...the market drove this
back down today...HARD.
NOW, I STILL LOST MONEY TODAY...but
at least it was house money...hehee.
Somehow that doesn't make me feel THAT
much better but knowing that it could
have been mUch worse, helps, to be sure.
The more I read about Bill's Techniques
the more I like what I read...I've
been playing by basically the same
rules but with NO disipline. The
hardest thing in the world is not
"falling in love'' and "believing"
in these companies...despite their
promise they are still just PAPER.
I appreciate what your tryin to do
here Bill and look forward to learning
more and more from participating in
this board.
