Merrill's call....I see this as a bad call and the analyst is taking an unneccessary risk here. Waiting until the Q3 margins are reported would have been a better move. Should margins remain flat (+ or - 1%) then the analyst could come out and make a valuation call on INTC based on a perceived inability to control price and increase margins etc. But if margins DO come in stronger as guidance has suggested then I think this call will backfire on ML.
