I think it is cause for concern. A64 isn't selling well because it either isn't in demand or isn't very manufacturable.

LOL!!

IBM, SUN, Cray, dumping Xeon and Itanium skus to make room for Opteron must be because no one wants it.

The competition is on 90nm and 300mm so they can cut the legs out from under XP at any time.

What are you talking about, VIA's CPUs? They've been on 300/90 for a while. I guess that's what really matters - the wafer size, not the chips being produced.

What's left? While Prescott isn't scaling well upon intro,

Wa! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ho! Ho! Ho!

Ya think?

Ho! Ho! Ho! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Stop it! You're killing me!

"To be introduced at the end of Q3 of 2003, and experience the fastest ramp in the history of Intel...."

I pity those who think it won't. As usual, AMD will slip 90nm intro, you can take that one to the bank.

They way things are going, AMD will have a WORKING 90nm process well ahead of Intel.
