OK, so every question was answered in the iBox. Every one. All the company information was valuable, the notes, the profiles and lowman's comments were all valuable reads. Thanks for putting it up there for us.

Hooooowever, lowman, I must respectfully throw this at your reasoning on a part of the comment in this statement:

B) Monopoly within the market: Near-bloodless surgery minimizes blood transfusions, which minimizes transmission of blood-bourne diseases (AIDS, just for starters). The healthcare industry should greatly appreciate this 'little' benefit. Near- scarless surgery will be appreciated in the cosmetic surgery industry and by all those who might wish to avoid surgeries which to date, leave unsightly scars (C-sections, wound closures, breast implants, etc.)

I agree with all of it except the part about being appreciated by the cosmetic surgury industry - could they not be one of the enemies to market infusion of this technology? They make their money correcting things like giant scars from surgery and other post trauma events. You are right in that when they do a nose job or a boob job it might help, but they will lose a part of their revenue stream on the post trauma. This would have to be replaced by an increase in revenue generated by the use of the technology. I am not quite sure that they could. But even with nose and boob jobs, they may also be losing return customers that would have otherwise come back in ten years to fix that nagging scar tissue that is now prominent on their face or is bothering their breast bone. Had they used the newer and better technology they may not come back for twenty.

Don't get me wrong - I would love to see this technology get to the public as soon as possible and I am a strong supporter of the company. I would have no problem with the poor sufferings of the cosmetic surgery industry, in most cases (not the ones who actually need it due to illness or accident, of course). I just wanted to point that one out and see what you thought about it.

And it proves I'm thorough. :)

OT - Actually, I think I am truly just looking for a sparing partner - I have been suffering through the MCCY board and it made me crazy. TOVC is not usually very active anyway so I had to come here where I thought there may actually be a couple mature people with an actual ability to banter like adults...

As always, thanks for the information - very complete and informative.
