Excellent post futures, you are right...exposure is the only thing that will get this stock going. That's why I am somewhat dumbfounded as to why some of the posters are regarding the event at the casino as a negative. Think about this guys...from what I have seen, everyone is pretty much in agreement that the real money comes from PPV sales..SSPE just left close to 8000 potential PPV customers in Dallas..In the corporation I used to work for we used the 'theory of 4'...word of mouth advertising. It is the most powerful advertising tool ever created...think about it, if you go to a restaurant and have an outstanding experience, you tell everyone you know about it...at least four!..at least! Now, stay with me...I think everyone is pretty much in agreement that everyone who attended AOW3 had an OUTSTANDING experience. And...they told their friends! Now..are you still with me? The 8000 that attended the AOW3 are going to want to see 'their' brand fight..most will purchase the PPV, and more importantly..they will tell their (4) friends to purchase it too! Conservatively, I think it is safe to assume that at least 4-5000 of the attendees who were at AOW3 will purchase the event, now, multiply that times 4!..that can put the PPV numbers just in the Dallas area at around 30,000 veiwers!! That's just counting the ones that attended AOW3. How many millions live in the Dallas area that didn't go to the event but, might want to purchase it as well because one of the '4' told them what a great show it was..the theory of '4' rests on the premise that 4 will tell 4, who will tell 4, and so on and so on...Let's not forget about the viewers from across the country that paid for the AOW3 PPV. I believe they were pleased with the show and will order AOW4...I know I was, and I will purchase AOW4...even if I wasn't a shareholder!! Now, let's move over to the casino. The name of this game is for SSPE to make substantial profits. I would venture to guess that SSPE is probably getting the Casino venue for next to nothing if not free. The reason being is that the 2500 people that attend AOW4 will probably stop by the slot machines, gambling tables, nightclubs, restaurants etc. Therefore, they will be spending MONEY at the Casino. It's win-win for everyone....SSPE reduces their overhead and increases profits while gaining exposure! That is the perfect business model people!! The Casino gets an extra 2500 customers for the night while gaining exposure! Does it really get any better than that? Why do you think all these MMA brands keep holding the events in casinos? Because it equals MONEY!! And the beautiful thing is that SSPE won't have to dilute the outstanding shares to pay for the event! This is a business and the goal of any business is to make MONEY!! I think of the casino event as a step up rather than down. Now, how does it help us, the shareholders? People that frequent casinos usually have a fair amount of disposable income...that income can be INVESTED as well as gambled! These people have friends with disposable income as well! I'm excited about this folks! I mean it, I am EXCITED!! And this isn't even taking the underground cagefighting, the video game, or the upcoming casino 'house' gig in Las Vegas into account...We need to start thinking months down the road instead of days or worse..hours! Think about this....sooner or later...and I really believe sooner..someone is going to be sitting in one of the AOW audiences that has millions upon millions of dollars to their name. That someone is going to say 'I love this brand...and I want every friggin share I can buy!' What do you think that will do to the PPS? The only thing I wish SSPE would do is start pushing their investment information on the attendees of the AOW events and running it in the credits on the PPV's, DVD's, ticket stubs, etc. In summary I think the casino gig is brilliant and will, when the dust settles, be the key to unlocking the true potential of this stock.
