Its not that Dnap has lost its focus its that the Patent office and the FDA require so much info. it takes time to get. And then time to process, these 2 Dept's are very slow on getting the approval out.
Take a look at Statnome. Tony applyed at the patent office in 7-1-02 figure 3 to 4 years from this filing, thats 2006 for a Patent approval on Statnome {see Twist interview time line}.Then look at Dnap's web site, not till 2005 to begin trials for FDA approval on Statnome and if you search the FDA web site nothing has been done so far with Statnome except one place where Tony talks about it.
So not till 2005 for Patent approval and trials for the FDA.Well each project takes a ave. of 1 year to complete so if your running trials starting in 2005 your not even done with the first trial till 2006,run another trial and now your at 2007 before you can even start to apply for FDA approval. FDA approval alone takes another 2 years on top of that. So say 3 years from 2005 puts us at 2008 for FDA approval. It takes time and the process is a long one but we have Forensics to keep us along the way. Eye color maybe in a few Mo's and Hair color in 2005, just a guess not much else for the rest of the year.Dont feel bad we will get there.2004 will see most of the time Forensics stuff.
