wall-rus: Goes to show, once again, that British intelligence is far superior to U.S. intelligence. A Brit who is a specialist on China's military discovered the spying. We aren't the only victim--some British agencies, including the House of Commons, I believe, were hacked, as well as the Germans.
The article I read mentioned that the Chinese blew up a satellite recently as a warning to us. Our military depends on satellites. Without them, it is back to the Roman army's turtle formation!
This is the BIGGEST threat to the U.S. imo.
I hate to go political, but the only person, Democrat or Republican, that would make me feel half-way safe is Guiliani, with McCain in second place. Rudy does not tolerate any crap. None. He is a numero uno law and order guy. People who sell our technology to China would end up either living in China or in a gas chamber in the U.S.
Weakness will be our demise.
