Job Description
The Supervising Producer is responsible for the preparation, execution and evaluation of our live interactive television shows, which are broadcast daily on several commercial broadcasters. Together with the production team, you prepare the show editorially, strategically and content-wise. During the broadcast, you support and manage the hosts and the technical team. Next to that, you evaluate the show with production team and hosts. Your creative input in generating new ideas and concepts is of equal importance. For the current position we are looking for Dutch/ English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) speakers. For this position it is necessary to be willing to relocate to China (location can be supplied on demand).
Job Requirements
§ 2+ years of television production experience required
§ Excellent level of English or Dutch and Chinese
§ Preferable experience with live television programs
§ Knowledgeable in broadcast technology and equipment used in a control room
§ Candidate must be detail-oriented, well-organized
§ Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Project required
§ Must be a self starter and take initiative
§ Should be able to thrive in a small, but fast-growing entrepreneurial team
§ Must be reliable and a team player
§ Perform other duties as assigned
§ Willingness to relocate for a longer period to China
§ Willingness to work during the weekends and nights
§ Willingness to travel internationally, if so required
