That's the problem with this issue. Intel and HP are
being vague in their statements which are little more
than hints and teases worded in curious fashion. That
may be because CT isn't AMD64 compatible. Or
perhaps because it is, if you know what I mean.

Until this is clarified most journalists, pundits, and
analysts are operating under the premise that HP is
set to introduce an Opteron server and that CT will
be AMD64 based. My recent comments in this thread
are based on this premise being true. Mind you if
CT turns out to be incompatible with AMD64, or
better still, is based on IA-64, and that is what
HP is talking about, I will have a very good belly
laugh indeed.

Hopefully we won't have to wait impatiently for too
much longer for the important bits to be revealed.
