The puzzle was that Dr. Provost's talk on 02/06 indicated only around 100 enrollees (slides 18&19 showed that there were 66 treated patients at that time). Of course, her slides could use old data but that would be odd given the importance of the meeting. So a wild guess is that those were the patients known for sure to be GS<=7. The trial ramped up substantially after the change to all GS and minimal pain to get to 179 on Feb 2006 but perhaps those patients were excluded from her presentation.
